How to Enrol

Eight clear steps from choosing a course to your first day.

Eight steps to enrolment
01

Choose your course

Review the course pages — fees, duration, units, entry requirements and outcomes are all published. Our Student Support Officer can help you compare options and pathways.

02

Check entry requirements

All courses: 18+, photo ID, work rights (no student/working-holiday visas), LLN test, BYOD laptop. Security also needs a current HLTAID011 First Aid certificate and fit-&-proper-person checks; White Card needs Year 12 or Cert IV+ and a Pre-Training Review phone/Zoom interview.

03

Get your USI

Create a free Unique Student Identifier at usi.gov.au, or authorise us to apply on your behalf with one identity document. Required by law before any certificate can be issued. USI guide.

04

Complete the Student Application Form

Confidential enrolment information collected under the National VET Data Policy. Write your name exactly as it appears on your USI identity document. Request the form from reception or by email.

05

LLN assessment & in-person induction

Complete the language, literacy, numeracy and digital skills assessment and attend campus in person for induction testing and paperwork. Enrolment is not finalised until this is complete — free support plans are built where needs are identified.

06

Apply for RPL or Credit Transfer (optional)

Already hold relevant units or experience? Credit Transfer (certified AQF documents/USI transcripts) and RPL can reduce your fees and duration. You never repeat a unit you are already Competent in.

07

Receive your offer & pay

Pay within 5 days of invoice or before commencement, by credit card or EFT (no cash). Deposits: $1,500 for Accounting and both IT courses; Security ($1,250) and White Card ($99) are paid in full at registration, as courses under $1,500 are paid before commencement. We never hold more than $1,500 prepaid; tuition is GST-exempt. See the Fees & Refund Policy.

08

Orientation & your first day

Meet your trainer, tour the facilities, set up library access, and receive your timetable, training plan and learner guides — then start building your career.

Changed plans? Course substitution and deferral are available up to 5 working days before commencement (deferrals up to 6 months); transfers any time subject to availability and credit crossover. Details in the Student Handbook.
