All training and assessment is conducted against the requirements of the relevant training package qualification. Assessment is competency-based — you will be assessed as either Competent (C) or Not Yet Competent (NYC).
Assessment tasks may include written questions, practical demonstrations, projects, observations and workplace evidence. You will receive a clear assessment brief for each task. Where you receive an NYC result, you will have at least one opportunity for reassessment at no additional cost.
All assessment practices meet the principles of validity, reliability, flexibility and fairness as required by ASQA.
RPL is an assessment process that allows you to gain credit for skills and knowledge you already have — acquired through work, life experience or previous training. To apply for RPL, contact student services before enrolment.
Credit Transfer is available for units you have previously completed that are equivalent to units in your current course. Provide certified copies of your prior transcript to student services. Credit transfer is granted at no additional cost.
Regular attendance and participation is essential for competency-based training. You are expected to attend all scheduled sessions. If you cannot attend, notify Swift Skills as soon as possible.

Credentials are issued under the full legal name of Swift Skills (V&I Swift Skill Institute Pty Ltd, RTO 46501) and carry the NRT logo, confirming they are nationally recognised.
A Statement of Attainment will be issued if you complete some, but not all, units of a qualification.
